They're faster than Kelly at the skill positions...and when that's the case, if you have the slower players, you play it in mud if ya can. Really, at Clintwood PV didn't make the most of their capabilities...it puzzled me why you would want to beat your head against a brick wall for 4 quarters hoping it would break. It's not been just the CW game either. It's been all the CW games and both GC games last year (or maybe the year before), and the RL game they won at the Park. I've never thought Pinkston to be fast. He's more power. Of course I've never seen him get a run over 10-15 yards to show if he can run. The best player that PV has IMO is Fannon. He's not fast but he's good. He reminds me of a less athletic, not as physically impressive McKinney. If PV is fast Jelly is molasses.

My guess is it will be a muddy mess on 95% of the fields in the area Friday. The other 5% have turf.
